Twitter can be highly beneficial for businesses, if executed properly. Quickly here, I'd say that one of its key uses is for its ability for brands to have a Human personality. Consider that with Twitter, brands now have the possibility to talk to a consumer or potential consumer one on one. The deep engagement leads to a better relationship with the brand and will bring the consumer a lot further along the consumer decision process.
